Nature Beckons Us To Return Home
I spend a lot of time in the redwood forests of Northern California.
And nothing seems to beckon me to return home like an ancient redwood.
To me, trees are the perfect living embodiment of the truth.
They do not mind if it rains.
Or if the sun shines.
They do not mind if a gust of wind threatens to pull the tree from its roots.
They are eternally at peace with what is.
They adjust to their environment as needed, but they do so without a hint of second guessing.
They are connected.
And they are kind enough to welcome us into their loving embrace.
They are kind enough to welcome us home.
